The total fee here is 28 lakhs, the general fee to be deposited as caution is Rs 15,000, the caution fee to be deposited for hostel is Rs 5,000 and the mess advance for each term is about Rs 30,000.
Similarly, the total fee for studying at IIM Bangalore is around 24,50,000. In this, caution fee (general) of 15,000 is deposited. Caution fee and hostel of 5,000 is deposited. The mess charge for each term is around 30,000 and the hostel fee is up to 20,000 per term.
Fees vary according to the course
Apart from where you are doing the course, the fee also depends on the course you are doing. For example, the fee for doing PGP (MBA) from IIM Ahmedabad is Rs 28 lakh.
The fee for PGP – FABM (Food and Agri Business Management) is Rs 22 lakh. The fee for PGPX (MBA for Working Professionals) is Rs 34.95 lakh. The fee for EPGP (Executive Post Graduate Program) is Rs 22 lakh.
